We can not deny the importance of cinema in our life.


The economy of movies is changing not only in India but all over the world.


The budget of the movies are getting higher day by day.


Since marketing is an important factor these days so after the making of the film, a good amount of money is spent on its promotion and marketing through electronic media, social media and print media so that it increase the sell of tickets and earn maximum through it.

♧Indian cinema that started it’s journey with the Dadasaheb Phalke’s ‘RAJA HARISHCHANDRA’ in 1913 after which India took a leap forward and was producing 200 film per annum by the end of 1930. After which in 1931 India got it’s first sound movie by Ardeshir Irani, ‘ALAM ARA’ which being a major commercial success showed that there is a huge scope in India for the musicians, sound artists etc. This lead to the production of sound films in various regional languages. The first coloured movie in India came in 1937 but coloured movies gained popularity in 1950s when came the age of romantic melodramas.

Looking through the history, Bollywood has always put a great impact on the audience. In one way or the other it has helped India always to revive it’s culture and heritage in the minds of Indians. Bollywood when seen from outside looks to be very charming and glamorous but along with the charm it has united the entire country, India in some way or the other. The golden age for the Bollywood is considered the time between 1940s & 1960s. It got movies like PYAASA, KAAGAZ KE PHOOL, AWARA, SHREE 420, AAN . This was the time when India saw some of the great actors which Include ‘Raj Kapoor’, ‘Guru Dutt’ , ‘dev Anand’, ‘Nargis’, ‘Meena Kumari’ etc. after it came the movies filled with romance and action which is still the trend and its being followed now as well.
