Volume of cube=a³
=6x6x6
=216cm³
Volume of cube of edge 2cm=a³
=2x2x2
=8 cm³
Therefore, no. of cubes that can be formed of edge 2cm =
Volume of first cube/volume of second cube(here)
216/8 = 27

edge of the cube = 6cm

volume of the cube = side³

= 6 × 6 × 6

= 216cm³

edge of the cube given, that will be cut from the cube = 6cm

volume of this cube = side³

= 6 × 6 × 6

= 216cm³

hence, no. of cubes can be formed = 216/216

= 1

only 1 cube can be formed.
