Let, the edge of the square = 100

Increased by 10%

∴ New edge will be 110

Surface Area of a square = 6 * (100)^2

                               = 60000

 Surface area of square with new edge = 6*(110)^2

                                          = 72600

 percent increased in surface area = [(72600 - 60000)/60000] * 100

         =21% ans
