27=x
27 cubes if edge 2 cm will be formed

Volume of the cube = a³ = 6³ = 216 cm³

Edge of the other cube = a = 2cm

Volume = a ³ = 2³ = 8 cm³




Number of cubes of side 2cm that can be made from solid cube of side 2cm =

Volume of solid cube ÷ Volume of the smaller cube


= 216 ÷ 8

= 27 cubes
