The volume of the cuboid is 48cm^3.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

The ratio of edges of cuboid = 1:2:3

Surface area = 48cm^2

Let, l = a, b = 2a, h = 3a

so,

2(lb+bh+hl) = 88

2(2a^2 + 6a^2 + 3a^2) = 88

11a^2 = 44

a^2 = 4

a = 2

∴ l=2cm, b = 4cm, h = 6cm

∴ Volume=lbh

= 2 × 4 × 6

= 48cm^3
