The edges of a square pyramid are of equal length.The height is 6√2 cm.
a)Find the length of the base edge.
b)Find the volume of the pyramid.

we know that H=6√2
IN PYRAMID. A^2+H^2=L^2; EDGE=a
A=a/2
l=a
(a^2/4)+H^2=a^2
36*2=a^2-a^2/4
(3a^2/4)=36*2
a^2=96
a=4√6
volume of pyramid=1/3* area of square*height
=1/3*96*6√2
192√2
