area = 1/28base*height

= 1/2*6*8 = 24 cm square =

cost of painting = 24*9= 216 = 2 rs 16 paisa

Dont get confused. This triangle is a right angled triangle as the sides comply with pythagoras theorem.

Concept

Area of Triangle

( Base * Height ) / 2

Given

Edges of triangle are 3m, 4m and 5 metres.

Cost of painting = Rs. 10/m²

Observation

Triangle is right angled triangle with

base 3 or 4 metres and

height 4 or 3 metres.

To Find

Cost of painting one side

Solving

Area of triangle = ( 3 * 4 ) / 2 = 6m²

Cost of painting 1m² = Rs. 10

So,

Cost of painting 6m² = 6 * 10 = Rs. 60

Answer

So, cost of painting one face of triangle is Rs. 60.

Thank you.
