Given :  spending distribution is approximately normally distributed with a mean of Rs. 280 and a standard deviation of Rs. 70

To Find :  percentage of customers will spend less than Rs. 210 on concessions

Solution:

Z score = ( Value - Mean ) / SD

Value = 210

Mean = 280

SD = 70

=> Z score = ( 210 - 280)/70

=> Z score = - 1

Z score - 1 mean 0.1587  or 15.87 %

Hence  15.87 %  of customers will spend less than Rs. 210 on concessions
