Answer:
Gravitation attracts masses, resulting in an attractive force. In a liquid, the molecules move quickly and move out of the way of a solid object in the liquid. Hence, a dense solid object will sink if its density is greater than that of the liquid because the liquid is displaced by the object as it moments.

Answer: The gravity acts on equivalent mass and the liquid exists in flexible molecules resulting to be attracted by the force of gravitation. Whereas solid has compact molecules which gets less attraction as compared to liquid.
