Answer:

The effective resistance of the combination is 0.66 ohm approximately.

Explanation:

r(1) = 1 Ohm

r(2) = 1 Ohm

r(3) = 1 Ohm

r(1),r(2),r(3) are connected in parallel combination

1/R(p1) = 1/1+1/1+1/1 = 3 Ohm

So R(p1) = 1/3 Ohm

r(4), r(5), r(6) are connected in parallel combination

1/R(p2) = 1/1+1/1+1/1 = 3

So R(p)2 = 1/3

Now, R(p1) and R(p2) are connected in series connection.

So, R(s) = R(p1) + R(p2) = 1/3+1/3 = 2/3 = 0.66 Ohm (app.)

[N.B. : I have calculated the effective resistane without the middle resistance having no value]
