electric lines of force do not intrest .why?

Answer:

Tangent to any electric lines of field gives the direction of the net electric field at that point. If the two lines intersect, there will be two tangents and thus two directions of the net electric field at that point which is not possible. So, two electric field lines do not intersect each other.
