Answer: First of all total resistance,

, R=internal resistance + 8 ohm resistance.

, R=2+8= 10ohms.

Now heat produced =V×I×T... (1)

Now by ohms law

I=V/R= 6/10= 3/5A...(2) ,

, 6×3/5×21=H

H= 75.6J.
