Answer:

phosphorus is the element which has thick configuration

to find its valency just do 8-5 =3 its valency is 3. if any element has valence electron 5,6,7 then do 5

8- the no. of valence electron

Answer:

The valency of this element is :

3.

Explanation:

because It's configuration is 2,8,5.

and we find valency by

➡ 8-5 = 3.

and the no of valence electrons in it is 5 .

because the number of electrons present in last shell those called the no of valence electrons...

Hope it helps you....

Thanks..
