The element Scandium whose electronic configuration is 2,8,9,2 but it's in the period 4 that means it will have 4 shells that's right but it's in the group 3 that means it will have 3 electrons in its outer most shell why? but according to the electronic configuration it has 2 electrons in its outer most shell?why??!!
