 \red{ \bf In \: this \: Case}

 \underline{\purple { \bf Given}}

  • Force (F) = 20000 N
  • Area = 1000 cm²

Converting 1000 cm² into m²

  \sf{ \dfrac{1000}{100 \times 100} \: m^{2}}

  \sf{ \dfrac{1000}{10000} \: m^{2}}

 \sf{ 0.1 \: m^{2} }

 \underline{\purple { \bf To \: Find}}

  • Pressure applied

Formula Used :-  \boxed {\red {\sf \bold { Pressure = \dfrac{Force}{Area} }}}

Subsisting Values

\longrightarrow \sf Pressure =  \dfrac{20000}{0.1}

\longrightarrow \sf Pressure = \dfrac{20000}{1}  \times 10

\longrightarrow \sf Pressure = 200000

Therefore, we got Pressure 200000 N/m²

In Short, 200k Pascal or 200k N/m²

Given :

  • Force (N) = 20,000
  • Area = 1000cm² = 0.1m

To Find :

  • Pressure

Solution :

Use the Formula :

\large{\color{grey}{\boxed{\sf{Pressure = \dfrac{Force}{Area}}}}}

Substituting the values gives :

╭☞ Pressure = \sf{\dfrac{20000}{0.1}}

╭☞ Pressure = \sf{20000 \times 10}

╭☞ Pressure = 20000pa

So , the pressure is 200000pa or 200000n/

Supplementary information :

  • Force is something that is push or pull.

  • Force is of two types : Contact force and Non contact force.

  • Area is the total area an object holds up .

  • Pressure is the force of an object that is exerted on something

  • Pressure can be measured in Pascals or pa .

  • Pressure is Force per unti area : F/A
