The embryo sac in female gametophytr is seven celled and eight nucleated structure.
It is true, as in the centre two nuclei are present known as polar nuclei and in the chalazal end three cells which have three nuclei called antipodal cells and in the micropyle end three cells which have three nuclei called egg and synrgids are present . So right nuclei and seven cells are present in one embryo sac.

Female gametophyte

Explanation:

  • The woman gametophyte (undeveloped organism sac) creates from a solitary sensible mega spore. This mega spore experiences 3 progressive mitotic divisions to frame eight nucleate undeveloped organism sacs.
  • The most important mitotic division in the mega spore systems two cores. One is the micropylar end and the other is a chalazal end.
  • At that point, these cores separate at their specific closures and re-partition to border eight nucleate stages.
  • They are referred to as the egg contraption. So also, at the chalazal end, 3 out of four cores separates as antipodal cells.
