You must have to find the empirical formula mass

Empirical formula mass is:

12+2+16 = 30

Now, divide molecular formula mass by empirical formula mass

60/30  = 2

Now, multiply 2 with the entities of CH₂O

You will get: C₂H₄O₂

Which is acetic acid or methyl methanoate
