Given:-

→ Power of the bulb = 100 W

→ Power of the fan = 60 W

→ Time of use per day = 10 hours

To find:-

→ Energy [in kWh] consumed in 30 days

Solution:-

We know that:-

Energy = Power × Time

Hence, energy consumed by the two bulbs in one day :-

= 100×10×2

= 2000 Wh

And, energy consumed by the two fans in one day :-

= 60×10×2

= 1200 Wh

Total energy consumed in one day :-

= (2000 + 1200) Wh

= 3200 Wh

So, energy consumed in 30 days :-

= 3200×30

= 96000 Wh

Now, let's convert the required energy from Wh to kWh :-

=> 1 Wh = 0.001 kWh

=> 96000 Wh = 96000(0.001)

=> 96 kWh

Thus, the energy consumed in 30 days

is 96kWh .
