1 ergs = 10^-7 Joule

1 cm = 10^-2 meter
______________________________________

Energy of proton = E = 3×10^-12 ergs = 3×10^-19 J

Planck's constant = h = 6.62×10-27 ergs = 6.62×10-34 Js

speed of light = 3×10^10 cm = 3×10^8 m

wavelength = a = ?
______________________________________

E = hc/a

Ea = hc

a = hc/E

a = 6.62×10^-34×3×10^8/3×10^-19

a = 6.62× 10^-34+8/10^-19

a = 6.62×10^-26/10^-19

a = 6.62×10^-26-(-19)

a = 6.62×10^-26+19

a = 6.62×10^-7 m

(1 nm = 10^-9 m )

a = 6.62×10^-7/10^-9

a = 6.62×10^-7+9

a = 6.62 × 10^-2 nm
______________________

so wavelength = a = 6.62 × 10^-2 nm
