solution:
The formula for energy is 1/2mv^2

According to question:
1/2m(V2^2 - V1^2) = n x 1/2mV^2

=> n = (V2^2 - V1^2) / V^2

=> n = (400 - 100) / 100

=> n = 3

Hope it helps!
