Solution:-
Firstly we convert the mass into Kg
1 ton = 1000 kg
Therefore , 4 ton = 4000 Kg
Now we know that Force is the product of mass and acceleration.
• F = m×a
Substitute the value we get
→ 7500 = 4000 × a
→ a = 7500/4000
→ a = 75/40
→ a = 1.87m/s²
Therefore, the acceleration of the trolley produced by the engine is 1.87 m/s².
