Bubonic Plague:-

- In 1896, the Bubonic Plague epidemic killed around 10 millions people of India. And after, it became an outbreak for 2 decades of bubonic in south-central India till 1994.

- This plague arrived India from China and reached the India by the practice of trade between them which afterwards spread in the western and southern parts of India from Mumbai, Maharashtra.

- During the 19th century, steps to combat this plague in India were accelerated and hence vaccination was promoted under this. Therefore, the vaccine was tested and the plague vaccine was discovered.

- And finally in 1977, India became successful to get overcome from this plague.
