a=2b-5 (1)

so now we know that

perimter of isosceles triangle=2a+b

so thus according to the second condition

2a+b=75 (2)

substitute value of a from (1) in (2)

we get

2a+b=75

ie 2(2b-5)+b=75

ie 4b-10+b=75

so 5b=85

ie b=17 units

substitute value of b in any of two equations

we get

a=29 units

hence the length of equal sides of above isosceles triangle are 29 units each
