Let two equal sides be x

Now thrid side = 2x-5

Perimeter = 75 units

Perimeter of a Triangle = A + B + C

= x + x + 2x - 5 = 75

= 4x -5 = 75

= 4x = 80

= x = 80/4

= x = 20 units

Two sides each= A =B = 20 units

Third side = C = 40-5 = 35 units

Answer:

17

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the third side be x

the isosocles side =2x-5

perimeter=sum if all sides

=x+2x-5+2x-5

=5x-10=75

therefore x=85÷5=17
