Answer:

straight line

reason - straight line has one degree of X and one degree of y in equation.( degree means power of any variable ) so here power of X and y is 1 because a and b are non zero. so answer is straight line

parabola has two degree of either X or y. circle and ellipse both have two degree of X and y.

Answer:

A straight line

Reason:

ax+by+c = 0

by = -ax-c

y = -ax/b -c/b

y = mx -c/b

Which is nothing but gen form of a straight line

The general form of parabola has square in one of the parameters (x or y but not both) eg: y² = ax

General form of circle:

x² + y² + 2gx + 2fy + c = 0

General form of ellipse:

(x-h)²/a² + (y-k)²/b² = 1

The difference between circle and ellipse is that the co.efficient of x² and y² in circle will be same but in ellipse, it'll be different.
