the equation is 4x²+kx -1 =0 what we fill in the place of x so that our k =13

If k = 13 Therefore the equation will be 4x^2 + 13x-1 = 0  Using quadratic formula D = 13^2 - 4(4)(-1)    = 169 + 16    = 185  x = (-13 +_√D)/2(4)    = (-13+_√185)/8
