Given that equation of line -2x + 5y = -20      ...(1)

To find x -intercept put y = 0 in (1)

So -2x + 0 = -20

⇒ -2x = -20

⇒ x = 20/2

⇒ x = 10

Hence x - intercept of the above line is 10
