Answer:

Hi!!!!

The equation of a line is given as

(y-y1)=m(x-x1)

where; (x1,y1) is the point on the line and m is the slope

As the line is perpendicular to the line whose slope is -2/5

m1*m2= -1

m1*(-2/5)= -1

m1= 5/2

Now, substitute the values in the equation

(y-(-1))=5/2(x-(-1))

y+1=5/2(x+1)

2y+2=5x+5

5x-2y+5-2=0

5x-2y+3=0
