 \huge \boxed { \blue{\bold{Answer}}}

When x-intercept = 3, the corresponding point on x-axis is (3, 0).

When y-intercept = - 6, the corresponding point on y-axis is (0, -6).

Let (x1, y1) = (3, 0) and (x2, y2) = (0, - 6)

The required equation is

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

i.e., y - 0 = 2(x - 3)

i.e, y = 2x - 6

i.e., 2x - y = 6 is the required equation
