First of all i have give to u 2 main property to solve this type of problem
»the dimension of right side is always equal to the left side in any equation
»we can only substrate or add two or more quantity if they have same dimension .
so in above question
x/v have same dimension of k.
bcz they have substrate to each other
so dimension formula of k
=[L]/[LT^-1]
=[T]
so dimension formula of k is
[T]
