The peak value of emf and its frequency are 160 V and 60 1/s respectively

  • The equation of an alternating emf is,

e = 160sin( 120πt )

  • We can clearly see that the amplitude of emf is 160 i.e peak value of AC emf
  • Also, the value of angular frequency can be found out by comparing it with the coefficient of t i.e 120π
  • We know that frequency, f = w/2π

Where w = angular frequency

f = 120π / 2π

f = 60
