Given :

  • Y-intercept = 2

  • slope = 3

To find :

  • equation of line

Concept used :

Equation of slope form of line is given as :-

 \sf \: y \:  = mx + c

where :-

  • m = slope of line
  • c = y-intercept

Solution :

 \implies \sf \: y \:  = mx + c

put :-

  • m = 3
  • c = 2

 \implies \sf \: y \:  = 3x + 2

 \implies \sf \: y \:   - 3x - 2= 0

Answer :

equation of line chose y -intercept 2 and slope 3 :- y-3x-2=0

Given ,

Y - intercept (c) = 2

Slope (m) = 3

We know that , the slope intercept form is given by

 \boxed{ \tt{y = mx + c}}

Thus ,

y = 3x + 2

3x - y + 2 = 0

Therefore , the equation of the line is 3x - y + 2 = 0
