Plane progressive wave:  propagating in x direction.  Transverse wave
    y = 10 Sin 2π(t - 0.005x)   cm
       = 10 Sin (2π t - 0.01 π x)  cm

    Amplitude = A = 10 cm
    ω = angular frequency = 2π rad/s
    f = frequency = ω/2π = 1 Hz
    wave number = k = 0.01 π  rad/cm
    wave length = λ = 2π/k = 200 cm
 
   velocity = v = f λ = 200 cm/sec
