Given that ,

A line passing through the point (5,-4) whose slope is -7/2

We know that , the point slope form is given by

 \large \sf \fbox{Slope \: (m) =  \frac{ y_{2} -  y_{1} }{x_{2}  - x_{1} } }

Thus ,

-7/2 = (y + 4)/(x - 5)

-7x + 35 = 2y + 8

7x + 2y - 27 = 0

 \therefore \sf \underline{The  \: equation  \: of  \: the  \: line  \: is  \: 7x + 2y - 27 = 0}
