Concept Introduction: Projectile motion is a two dimensional motion.

Given:

We have been Given:

y = 6x - 3 {x}^{2}

To Find: The horizontal range of the particle will be?

Solution:

According to the problem, Equation of Trajectory is given by

y = x \tan \alpha (1 -  \frac{x}{r} )

therefore, putting the above equation in the trajectory equation we get

y = 6x(1 -  \frac{x}{2} )

Therefore on comparing it with the original equation it shows that range of the particle is

r = 2m

Final Answer: The Horizontal Range of the particle is

2m
