Given roots are 1, -1, 3

sum of roots is 1 -1 +3 = 3

product of roots 3(-1)(1)= - 3

let a, b,c are roots then equation is

x³- (a+b+c)x²+ ( ab+bc+ca)x -abc=0

a=1,b= -1,c=3

a+b+c= +3 +1 -1 =3

ab+bc+ca= 1(3)+3(-1)+1(-1)=3 - 3 -1= -1

abc= -3

Equation is x³-(3)x+( -1 )x +( - 3)=

x³-3x-x-3
