Naturally occurring barium chromate found in country of Jordan.

Brown crystals found on host rocks were known as hashemite in honor of Hashemite empire of Jordan.

Hashemite crystals range in color starting from light yellowish-brown to darker greenish-brown and are normally less than 1mm.

Those crystals dosen't consists of pure barium chromate but has little sulfur content.
