Answer:

120 ohms

Explanation:

As they all are connected end to end that is they are in series

alwinmabraham: but in the solution it is given 30ohm .. can you explain drawing it in all possible ways
likithasb14: hey the answer is 30 ohm only .As we can see that the 3 resistors are in series and also that branch has been short ciruited so the current flows from the other branch that is in B branch so the equivalent residence is 30 ohm only.
likithasb14: Hope this helps you.

 \huge \tt \green  {option \:  \: (a)20 Ω}

Step by Step Explanation :-

they are connected in parallel .

 \huge \tt \frac{1}{rp}  =  \frac{1}{r1}  +  \frac{1}{r2}  +  \frac{1}{r3} +   \frac{1}{r4}

 \huge \tt \frac{1}{rp}  = \frac{1}{30}  +  \frac{1}{30}  +  \frac{1}{30}  +  \frac{1}{30}

  \huge \tt\frac{1}{rp}  =  \frac{1}{120}

 \huge \tt \blue{ \therefore \: rp = 120Ω}
