1/Rp=1/R1+1/R2
1/Rp=1/2+1/2
1/Rp=2/2
Now reciprocating
Rp=2/2
Rp=1
Therefore the equivalent resistance is 1 ohm
1/Rp=1/2+1/2
1/Rp=2/2
Now reciprocating
Rp=2/2
Rp=1
Therefore the equivalent resistance is 1 ohm

Equivalent resistance of two resistors connected in parellel is
Req = R₁R₂ / (R₁ + R₂)
= (2Ω × 2Ω) / (2Ω + 2Ω)
= 1 Ω
Equivalent resistance is 1 Ω
Req = R₁R₂ / (R₁ + R₂)
= (2Ω × 2Ω) / (2Ω + 2Ω)
= 1 Ω
Equivalent resistance is 1 Ω
