Error in the length of the simple pendulum = 0.2%
Error in time period = 4%
Error is square of time period = 2×4%=8%
Maximum possible error = 8%+0.2% = 8.2% Ans

so we get 8.2% as answer

We also can use a formula

L

X = ----

T^2

delta x / x = delta L/L + 2(delta T /T)

Then also we get this answer.
