Solution : Escape velocity is the minimum speed required by a body to escape the gravitational influence of a large body.

• It is given by formula as given below,

V =  \sqrt{2GM \div R  }

G = gravitional constant

• Hence putting value of mass and radius of the earth, we'll get

V = 11 km/s

Therefore escape velocity of ball is 11 km/s
