They cam up with an extraordinary plan called the Suez Canal. The Suez Canal connects the Mediterranean sea to the Red Sea that connect the Atlantic Ocean to the Indian Ocean .

Nearly 7000 Kms have been reduced between Europe and India just because of the construction of Suez Canal.
