Answer:

the reason that carbon dioxide poses such a risk in terms of upsetting the balance of the Earth's energy budget is because it absorbs a significant amount of thermal energy. By adding more carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, the atmosphere becomes more "closed" to energy passing through it, absorbing more.

Explanation:

Green house gases are the gases that trap heat from sun and keep earth warm even when sun is absent (during night).

These gases include, Carbon-di-oxide, Methane, Nitrous oxide etc.....

These gases are actually very helpful to humanity and other living beings; But the problem arises when, these gases accumulate at a higher rate.

As the amount of Greenhouse gases go on increasing, by factories, vehicles;  more heat is trapped and earth become more and more warm which is also not good.

The CO₂( a greenhouse gas) also increase in a higher rate that even plants cannot bear it. As excess amount of CO₂ also disturbs plants.

So, rate of photosynthesis decreases, and energy balance disturbs.
