To Find :-

What is the CSA and TSA of the circular cylinder.

Formula Used :-

❶ To find CSA of cylinder we know that,

Solution :-

❶ To find CSA of cylinder,

Given :

Radius = 10.5 cm

Height = 24 cm

According to the question by using the formula we get,

⇒ CSA = 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 10.5 \times 24

⇒ CSA = 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 252

⇒ CSA = 2 \times 792

➠ CSA = 1584 cm²

\therefore The curved surface area of a cylinder is 1584 cm² .

❷ To find TSA of cylinder,

Given :

Radius = 10.5 cm

Height = 24 cm

According to the question by using the formula we get,

↦ TSA = 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 10.5(10.5 + 24)

↦ TSA = 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 10.5(34.5)

↦ TSA = 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 362.25

↦ TSA = 2 \times 1138.5

➥ TSA = 2277 cm²

\therefore The total surface area of cylinder is 2277 cm² .
