Answer:

Answer

a

Solution

. Let the ratio between number of guests to the lunch expense be ‘x’ and the constant amount be =’y’

Thus,

To compare the values of the variables

x = 80

Thus by substitution

= 90

Hence, constant amount = Rs 90

Ratio = Rs 80

Cost for 17 people = 90 + (17) (80)

= 1450
