The experiences of an individual during its lifetime is called acquired traits. Such traits can not be passed from parents to offsprings because they are not present in the genotype of the organism. They have stake only in the phenotype. We know that while gamete formation the copy of blueprints of body design i.e. DNA takes place which consists of genes. So the aquired traits cannot be inherited by progenies.
