The exterior angle of a regular polygon is 1/3rd of its interior angle. Find the no. of the polygon.​

The sum of the interior and exterior angle of any polygon at any vertex is equal to 180°.

Let x = the exterior angle.

3x+x = 180

4x = 180

x=45

The sum of all exterior angles of any polygon is 360°.

∴ 360/45=8
