Exterior angle = 180 - interior angle

1. 3y = 180 - a

a = 180 - 3y

2. 4y=180-b

b=180-4y

3. 5y=180-c

c=180-5y

in triangle sum of angles = 180

a +b+c = 180

180-3y+180-4y+180-5y=180

180*3-12y=180

180*2=12y

180*2÷12=y

30=y

3y=3*30=90

4y=4*30=120

5y=5*30=150

hence 3y Is smallest

Answer:

1. 3y = 180 - a

a = 180 - 3y

2. 4y=180-b

b=180-4y

3. 5y=180-c

c=180-5y

in triangle sum of angles = 180

a +b+c = 180

180-3y+180-4y+180-5y=180

180*3-12y=180

180*2=12y

180*2÷12=y

30=y
