The exterior of an empty wooden box measures 90 cm in length, 72 cm in breadth and
60 cm in height. If the wood is 3 cm thick all around, find the volume of wood used to make
the box. If 1 cc of wood weight 0.09 g find the weight of the empty wooden box.

For internal ,

L=56−6=50 cm

B=39−6=33 cm

H=30−6=24 cm

VOLUME =L×B×H=50×33×24=39600 CM³

WOOD USED =65520−39600=25920 CM³
