thickness=1cm
therefore length of inner box=42-2
=40cm
breath of inner box =32-2
=30cm
height of inner box=27-2
=25cm
therefore dimensions of inner box are
l=40cm,b=30cm,H=25cm

volume of inner box =l×b×h
=40×30×25
= 30,000cm cube
therefore the volume of inner box is
30,000 cm cube.

Answer:

The internal volume of the box is 30,000 cm³.

Step-by-step explanation:

The external dimensions of a closed wooden box are 42 cm, 32 cm and 27 cm.

The thickness of wood is 1 cm.

The internal dimensions of box are

42-2=40

32-2=30

27-2=25

The internal volume of the box is

V=l\times b\times h

V=40\times 30\times 25=30,000

Therefore the internal volume of the box is 30,000 cm³.
